Linux GPU overclocking and monitoring tool, LACT, has officially launched v0.10.0, adding a host of new overclocking and sensor options for NVIDIA GPUs. The update notes mention PowerMizer mode, which allows users to force the NVIDIA GPUs into the highest p-state. The update also adds "Voltage boost," a new slider that allows the GPU to draw more voltage—as opposed to a more traditional voltage offset slider. The developers note that this slider merely adds more headroom for certain overclocks.
The update also adds new sensor read-outs for both NVIDIA and AMD GPUs. NVIDIA users on Blackwell GPUs now have access to hotspot sensors and per-memory-chip temperature sensors for both GDDR6x and GDDR7. On the AMD side of things, there is now support for graphical GTT memory display—GPU-accessible system memory—which is noted to be particularly helpful for iGPUs in high-memory-load applications and games, but may also be helpful when using older, low-VRAM GPUs, since those may also require spilling over into system memory more often.
