Xbox recently announced a number of changes to its Game Pass offering, lowering the price, for one, and it seems as though some open-source developers have grown tired of PC Game Pass being exclusive to Windows PCs and handhelds.
Some of the developers behind Heroic Games Launcher have started development on Xodus, a new open-source project designed to bring support for PC Game Pass games to Linux and macOS. At the time of writing, the project is still in its infancy, but it aims to use Valve's Proton and custom, reverse-engineered runtimes to get Game Pass and potentially Xbox PC Games running on the alternative operating systems.
