When Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls launched towards the end of July 2026, online spaces were littered with complaints about everything from PlayStation's online services crashing to PC performance issues that seemingly affected gamers on both brand-new high-end PCs and aging hardware.
Following those complaints, PlayStation and Arc System Works have issued an update to Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls that they claim has corrected those issues. The update notes on Steam say that the August 10 update reduced CPU usage with multiple fixes, corrected an issue whereby continuous audio device scanning resulted in random frame rate drops, and fixed a bug that resulted in low frame rates at certain resolutions.
